Although its a good feature but some people might find it difficult to use and a bit annoying. This tutorial will teach you how to turn “Conversations” off in Windows Live Mail.

I have the same problem but the solution above does not work for me. Windows Live Mail will not show list of Comcast messages no matter how Conversation is set in View. Further, List all email messages from all sources if blanked out in the selection box.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
Is there a solution for turning off the conversations function for only certain conversations? I have email forms that come in via my web site. Because the subject line of those emails is always “Contact from your website…”, they get grouped together even though they are not associated with each other. I like the conversations function and would like to keep using it.
^^ I dont think you can turn the feature off for selected emails.
It is wrong to say above that conversations group “emails from the same person”. It is a group of messages on teh same subjct.
That aside, once you have conversations , the best use is to block or highlight a conversation as was done in Outlook Express.
Seems to me that with every advance we get more features we don’t want and loose some functionality we appreciated.
C’est la vie.
PS It would be nice if they could fix the spurious error messsage when using WLM as a simple newsreader.
