"helpful Crash Reporter" - sure very helpful when it keeps coming up and won't let you restart Firefox.

Lol. After i did it I cant open mozilla The crash was gone but the firefox cant open Lol. need help !

id like this info better if the INI filed even when saved with "0" actually disabled it. but it doesnt. I dont like it when im not in control.

the info SHOULD work. but somehow the browser is overriding the checkbox and the INI file.

This is very useful on server-systems, if you have a php-script which will be nightly started automatically by the windows taskplaner (taskplaner simply calls a php-Url) . Firefox will not automatically close the window when the script has been ended, so you must also tell the taskplaner to "kill" the firefox-task after some minutes. When the task starts again on the next night, firefox will first show you the "crash"-window (because of the "kill" on the day before) and the php-script will not start. This is not very useful on a unobserved server-system....

Note that this won't stop Firefox from crashing, you just will no longer get the helpful Crash Reporter application, which lets you submit details of the crash so that developers can fix it. I'm not sure why you'd want to do that.
