But this function saves you a lot of typing, no? It's great having to type just 'h' for hotmail.com or 's' for shop.ebay.etc---etc---etc--- to visit a specific merchant, not to mention some really long URLs. Still, the value of 12 slows down computer (which is why I came looking for this info), so I find between that and 0 the value of *1* is best for me...

AKMA is 100% correct, this is extremely useful information and is exactly what I was looking for. However if you hit backspace it still does pull up suggestions. Any ideas how to stop that from happening as well?

Hey Vishal, there seems to a small prb with this(atleast for me), when I type in the **awesome bar** , nothing shows up as u said, but when i press 'Backspace' to edit it, suggestions start coming up.. any idea y? I've set the value to '0'
