Yesterday I told you how to delete your unused GMail account. Today I'm going to tell you the same thing for Windows Live accounts.
Do you want to delete your exiting MSN, Hotmail or any other Windows Live account? Do you have some unused Windows Live IDs which you no longer use and want to get rid of them? Do you get lots of spam mails in your Windows Live Mail account and want to delete it permanently?
I'm sure there are many ppl who face such problems and want to completely remove their Windows Live IDs for obvious reasons. If you are one of those, then do you know you can do it. Yes. You heard it right. Microsoft provides a way to delete your MSN, Hotmail or other Windows Live accounts. Just follow these steps:
1. Open following link:
Delete MSN, Hotmail or other Windows Live Account
2. Enter your mail ID and password and it'll show following page:
3. Click on "Close account" button.
4. Your account will be reserved for 270 days so that if you want to re-activate it, you can do within 270 days. After 270 days it'll be deleted permanently and you'll not be able to re-activate it.

How do u delete your windowslive messenger, because the msn doesn't help u with anything it just ruins ur friendship with ur friends soo i've decided to delte the whole thing, so it's outta my way. Sweet niblets it's hard to figure out how to delete your accounts!!! If you don't help me, i will get my body guard!!!!!!!!!!!!

^^ You can't re-activate the account. You'll need to re-create the account once you deactivate it. So you'll not get the contacts and messages back.

You said reserved for 120 days after de-activate right? so if after i de activate, then i re-activate my account. The contact & date will still get back?

^^ I'm not sure about the messages and contact list but yeah, you can re-activate the account within 120 days grace period.
