How to Delete Your Hotmail, MSN or Windows Live Account Permanently?

Yesterday I told you how to delete your unused GMail account. Today I'm going to tell you the same thing for Windows Live accounts.

Do you want to delete your exiting MSN, Hotmail or any other Windows Live account? Do you have some unused Windows Live IDs which you no longer use and want to get rid of them? Do you get lots of spam mails in your Windows Live Mail account and want to delete it permanently?

I'm sure there are many ppl who face such problems and want to completely remove their Windows Live IDs for obvious reasons. If you are one of those, then do you know you can do it. Yes. You heard it right. Microsoft provides a way to delete your MSN, Hotmail or other Windows Live accounts. Just follow these steps:

1. Open following link:

Delete MSN, Hotmail or other Windows Live Account

If the above link doesn't work for you, go to following link:

Close Windows Live Account

2. Enter your mail ID and password and it'll show following page:

3. Click on "Close account" button.

4. Your account will be reserved for 270 days so that if you want to re-activate it, you can do within 270 days. After 270 days it'll be deleted permanently and you'll not be able to re-activate it.

my fren wanted to delete his hotmail id. coz being hack n used to chat.. nw he cnt log in how can he delete tht id coz he cant use his origin password anymore n he cant change password due to he forgot the question and answer part. Pls help

How do you delete an MSN Live ID Internet Login from Vista.

My daughter logged into her MSN Live ID on my PC. How can I delete her sign in when I start IE.?

I don't want to delete her account, just remove the sign in option from my IE.

^^ Simply clear the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer and it'll remove your daughter Live ID from IE.

urm well i made a new windows live messenger email address for my myspace account, so i got my myspace account but never used this new email address after, so after 120 days of not using it my email address must of been de-activated. now i want to delete my myspace account, but i cant without signing into my email address to finalize the whole myspace thing help.
