hello VG,myself mamata,,i want to delete my gmail id as i m getting some unwanted mails from some unknown persons which r really creating a problem for me..
its really urgent to delete tht account as soon as possible...when i followed your steps to delete the account ,,after entering my new email id and currently using password,,its showing error..also i tried alternatives ..but no use....
so i need your caring advice and also your help to delete my account..
please reply me as soon as possible....

VG, thanks for the tip on deleting a GMail account. Please provide details on how to get to the point at which the account can be deleted rather than only a link to it.

I made the STUPIDEST mistake ever. I deleted my gmail account permanently when I should just have deleted one service under it.

has been hacked befoure 15 days unfortunately.some one hacked ids , changed the passward & now accesssing my ids by dispersing wrong information about me & also blackmailing me.This is highly kind request to Gmail Admin that Please Disable my gmail ids(smilingangle.nisha@gmail.com & smilingdoll.nisha@gmail.com) immidately.I will highly oblized u.

^^ If he has not changed the security question, then you can reset the password using "Forgot password" link. Otherwise report that Orkut account and ask your friends to report it. As much as people report it, you'll have higher chances that Orkut will remove the account.

my friend is complaining that some one logined in his orkut account and also had changed the password now... how can he restore his account .... so that the culprit should not misuse it...

^^ If you remember answer of secret question which you filled while creating the GMail account, then you can recover the password using "Forgot password" link. Otherwise its almost impossible to get the account back or to delete it.
