Existing Windows 10 users can upgrade to Windows 11 using Windows Update as well as official Windows 11 Installation Assistant tool released by Microsoft.

But there might be many advanced users who would like to perform a clean or fresh installation of Windows 11 in their computer system to have the best experience of Windows 11 performance and changes.

Personally I also like to clean install operating systems from scratch in my machines. Upgrading from an existing or old operating system might cause several kind of issues such as slow performance due to obsolete or corrupted registry keys, incompatible programs, old hardware drivers, etc.

To perform clean installation of Windows 11 in your device, you’ll need to create a bootable USB drive (also known as Pen drive) or DVD for Windows 11 setup. After creating bootable drive, you can boot your computer system using the bootable drive and follow setup wizard to install Windows 11.

  1. VG just copy pasting all files from iso to usb and using UEFI mode is simplest method, isn’t it working in windows 11?

  2. I have found Ventoy as a far better option for the purpose. In fact you can have multiple versions of Windows / Linux on the same USB drive without any one interfering with others. I have tried it VERY successfully.

    You just have to copy the iso file(s) to the pendrive after installing Ventoy on it. Even better part is that you simply overwrite the older ISO with the newer version as and when more updated iso file becomes available. No complex procedures like one had to using Yumi or Rufus or some other similar application. In fact I have also managed to use an ISO file of Norton Ghost 11 to back up my system drive by creating a ghost image.

  3. Hello

    I have upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on HP Pavilion 13-BB0075TU. Thereafter, the Microsoft Teams installs automatically but is not working properly so should I perform a clean install or there is a solution?

    Regards

  4. ^^ You can try to uninstall it using Apps page and then reinstall it from Microsoft Store.

    @Goldi
    Of course, it’ll work but this article was created to help users in downloading Windows 11 ISO file and create bootable USB together.

  5. One think which is irritating that during setup that Windows 11 forcing user to connect to internet to complete the setup. But I found a solution that works for me that connect your laptop or desktop to internet (when startup screen appears for setup Win 11) via wifi or dongle or smartphone hotspot, click “next”, after 5 to 10 seconds, immediately disconnect your system from internet, after few seconds, Windows 11 will automatically skip checking for updates and sign in to your account. Then you will complete offline setup.
    I am sharing this due to driver compatibility issue.

  6. @VG Microsoft Teams issue with Windows 11 is resolved after updating the display driver.

    Thank you so much.
