Google Chrome OS Screenshots, Might Be Real

As we all know Google is working on its new OS "Google Chrome OS" which will be an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks and will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.

"Mashable" website has posted a few screenshots of Google Chrome OS which are claimed to be real. Following are the screenshots:

Nothing can be said atm whether the screenshots are real or fake but tbh it looks the real deal.

  • have in mind that this OS it's for netbooks, it's for people who want to open a web browser quickly, not for programmers and stuff like that.

  • @ian This may be a beta version... I never knew they were building it. And if they are, i'd say this is a pretty good Beta version!

    @Gary I agree... If they released a full version and the graphics/such worked like a gem, i would only try to turn my vista into it, like i turned my vista into 7

    Because it really looks like a battery..
    And even that doesn't work.. XD
