As you know Windows 7 contains a new redesigned Calculator which has new GUI and new options. You can get more information about it in following topic:
What’s New in Windows 7: A Small Review with Screenshots
If you can't use Windows 7 but like the new Calculator, then you can get the same calculator working in Windows Vista.
Our friend Anoop has shared about a ported version of Windows 7 calculator which works in Windows Vista without any problem, so you can enjoy the fully functional Windows 7 calculator in your Vista.

Download the ZIP file from following link:
Now extract the ZIP file and run the "calc.exe" file.
If you want to replace the default calculator with this new one, then replace following existing files with the new ones:
%windir%\System32\calc.exe
%windir%\System32\en-US\calc.exe.mui
That's it. Now you can enjoy the new Windows 7 calculator in Vista.
PS: You'll need to take ownership of both files before replacing them. Visit following tutorial:
Add Take Ownership Option in File / Folder Context Menu in Windows Vista and 7

CALCULATOR HAS STOPPED WORKING!!!! HELP!!!!! :(
Ed
I replaced both files successfully. I tried opening it but I can't and the sidebar disappears then reappears for a second. I have a 32 bit Vista and I don't know what else to do in order to open it. The ONLY way I can currently open it is when I open it from the ZIP File.

I created a Windows 7 look-a-like Calculator that is portable. Download at:

This calculator is fully compatible with Windows XP and Vista, but you must have .NET Framework 4 to run it.
