The ribbon was one of the worst inovations i have yet to see MS do. Over 10 years of giving us a tool bar and BAM in 1 release take it away with no means to get it back easily. Hey everyone, let's change the stearing wheel on a car and make it push buttons on the dash instead! STUPID STUPID STUPID

I agree with Albert, I've not met anyone who likes the ribbons. The new "menus" (they're not really menus, though) are pretty distracting, take up an inordinate amount of screen real-estate, and are not well organized.

The Ubit software appears to work, but I would prefer the option to disable the ribbon. For those who don't need Access, I suggest the easier approach of Open Office. Those who have used MS Office for the last 12+ years will find it more familiar and comfortable; those who write the checks for your family or company will also like it better!

There must be some functionality to adopt old features in 2007. Person who are familiar with 2003 Menu are not at all happy when they are paying a big amount of buckes for 2007.
Just to get to know that they are having a anti user friendly interface????

I don't think it's very nice to say things so rudely.

If you don't like the things some people say, johnathan, then protest nicely. AskVG.com is not for swearing.

"But a few ppl don't like the new ribbons"
I don't know anyone who likes the new ribbon just an office full of people who get totally frustrated when they can't find the command that they want even after using it for six months.

Office 2007 menus suck and suck the life out of productivity.
