"Speed Dial" is a nice and useful feature in Opera browser which lets you to visit your favorite websites easily and quickly by providing their thumbnails in a grid format.
Now there is a good new for Mozilla Firefox users. You can also enjoy this feature in your Firefox now.
You need an extension "Speed Dial" which can add the same functionality to Firefox. With Speed Dial, you can easily access your favorite websites. To show the Speed Dial tab, you can either use the Speed Dial button (which you can be add in toolbar), or just enter "chrome://speeddial/content" in your Firefox addressbar.
To assign a website to Speed Dial, you can any of following methods:
- Use the "Set as Speed Dial" option in the bookmarks menu.
- Right click on the tab and select "Set as Speed Dial".
- Right-click on a blank area in the opened tab and select "Set as Speed Dial" option.
Speed Dial automatically loads in new Firefox windows, although you can set it to open in new tabs as well. To configure it you can use the add-ons window.

I think Google web accelerator is good enough and it works best with firefox rather than IE7. I can now open my home page in a blink of an eye.
