VG, I found an interesting bug for Windows Media Player in Vista. When you use mini mode, you restire the full mode, you would have totally transperent visualization with the already transparent bar on the bottom. The interface looks very funky too. You need Aero to see it, not including VistaVG's

Hi yet again Vishal

No, that didn't work either? I am using Windows 7 Build 7068, not that it should matter, as this WMP problem has bee happening on all theWindows 7 builds, right through from the original Build 7000? Yet it never happened in Vista for some strange reason? Maybe it is a bug after all, although it can't be if it's working OK on your PC/Laptop? I was wondering if I should get rid of WMP 12 and revert back to version 11 and see if that helps as I believe that with Win 7, you can delete WMP and some other programs? Just a thought but thanks anyway. It's bloody annoying though but thanks for all you help again Vishal. It is much appreciated.

Regards

^^ Try one more thing. Open a video in WMP and then resize it. Now right-click on the video and make sure "Video -> Fit Player to video" option is selected. Also uncheck the option "Fit video to Player on resize".

I hope it'll help.

Hi again Vishal

Well, I tried what you suggested but still WMP only open up very small in the top left corner of the monitor? It's all very strange however, I did just notice that now it opens correctly when I play a music track/file but just has that same old problem when playing a movie? Thanks for your good advice anyway but I don't know what else to try to rectify this annoying problem? Cheers!

^^ It doesnt happen here. Try one thing. Open WMP and resize it according to your requirement and then press and hold "Shift" key while clicking on Close button. Now open WMP again and it should remember the window size.

There is also another bug in windows WMP as well. Anyway, I think its a bug? Whenever I play music or open a film to watch, WMP player always opens very small in the top left hand corner of the monitor. It then has to be resized or maximised to get the full screen. I don't know if this is how windows 7 works with WMP or if it is a bug but it's highly annoying whatever the reason! With all the other Windows O/S's WMP just opened fully, whatever you were watching or listening to. Cheers! Mike
