Funny Bug Found in Internet Explorer 8

As we all know Internet Explorer 8 has been released and you can download it here. Its faster and better than previous IE versions. So we decided to give it a try and found a funny bug while testing it.

This bug appears when a page is not loaded and IE shows the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error message. So to recreate this bug, you'll need to open a URL which throws this error.

1. Open IE8 and provide following URL:

http://localhost

2. IE will show "Cannot display the webpage" error message.

3. Click on "More Information" button and guess what? The "More Information" text will not change to "Less Information". In fact it should change to "Less Information".

Its really a funny bug. If you can remember the same bug was found in IE7 in Vista but it was fixed in SP1. And now it has come back again in IE8. Interesting...

PS: This bug is also present in Windows 7 IE8 version.
