i just installed windows 7 but when i apply any theme the message which appears is -problem with area or other transparency effects. when i go to troubleshoot it says there is a problem with your vga drivers but the moment i uninstall the driver it asks for restart. but even after the restart it again automatically updates my driver which is not compatible with windows 7. could you please help me how to disable auto update or auto install driver in windows 7 so that i can download apt driver from the net and enjoy the themes with transparency and aero effects?

wow I feel ignored

In my last post I was simply asking if:
A) I can set up a desktop slideshow under windows Xp like I could under Windows 7?

B) If I can set up a desktop slideshow then what would I have to download and how would I go about setting it up?

C) If I can set up a desktop slideshow would I have to download all of “Aero Themes” to set up a desktop slide show? The reason I am asking this is because I am quite happy with the way my windows Xp looks right now and I wasn’t to fond of most of the other “Aero Themes” features other then the desktop slide show.

D) Does the Desktop Slide show available under windows 7 have a specific name so that I can be more specific about what I am referring to? is it just a part of Aero themes? Or something else ? Because when I look up aero themes I usually find sites talking about other features such as: Aero Peek, Aero Shake and Aero Snap. None of which I particularly want.

My first question is what is the desktop slide show feature in windows 7 called? Does it have a specific name or is it just part of aero themes because that term seems to include a lot of stuff? Lastly is it possible to get windows 7 desktop slide show feature* for windows Xp?

*and only that feature…I don’t want and different buttons, super bars anything else I just want to have the option of seting up a slide show for my desktop like I can in windows 7 ?

I need help, I have been trying to download AVG antivirus software from the internet but it won't launch the instalation process when i hit the run tab it just disappears.. I try downloading through bitcomet but as soon as the download starts it stops and a red X appears. Everything else downloads ok ... Could u tell me what the prob could be plz .. my comp (windows xp professional) is now unprotected from virus. I had norton 360 version 2 and it just stop working which i have now uninstalled. plz help me!

^^ It seems your CD/DVD drive is not in a good condition and is unable to read the disc properly. Thats why you are getting the error.
Regarding audio problem, it seems the driver is not working properly. Try to download the latest driver from manufacturer website.

Hi man one more problem.

I have make a swap of 2.5 gb and an extended file of 10 gb.
and i am trying to install fedora 10 but it tell some like.....

"The file xine-bib-1.1.15-3.fc10.i386.rpm cannot be opened. this is due to a missing file, a corrupt package or corrupt media. please verify your installation source.
If you exit, your system will be left in an inconsistent state that will likely require reinstallation".

So what i have to do to fix this problem. I have Pentium 4 processor...... and 768 MB of ram.....
I have checked the disk is correct, in others computer i have installed but in my computer it is not istalling, what should i do, please help me.....
