Thnk u for your answer, but, what can be the reason for the system not being able to detect my hard disk? Only when i change my jumper settings in replace it, it detects and works fine. Someone has suggested me to use two jumpers for that in second L position. Is that true?

^^ It might be overheating problem. I'll suggest you to ask your system technician to check the system.

@The Momento
You can add ViStart to startup so that it always start with Windows.

Hey!!! ur doin a great job. Coming to my problem, I use a lg flatron monitor. It works fine but all of a sudden it turns of for few (5 sec) and restarts, the cpu is allright. Is it a hardware problem with the monitor or some other problem. All the settings in the power options are set to none.

2). Sometimes when I turn on my computer, cpu, monitor, turn on but nothing appears on my monitor.
I remove the jumper and place it in the second slot, restart the system and then again I replace it in the same place and start over again. Then it works fine. What is the problem?

Thanks in anticipation.

I have been following your XP to Windows 7 tutorial diligently on my ASUS 1005HA. I instelled the trial of TuneUp and styler (although i uninstalled styler in an attempt to solve the problem. The start menu i have only shows a half covered icon for the My Docs etc. shourtcuts on the right of the start menu. I also use ViStart as you suggested. The only problem is that my start menu keeps on switching between the theme one and the Vistart one. First of all can i make it so that the start bar just shows the names and not the icons of the shortcuts on the right and also can i make it so that just the Vistart menu is visible. Also is there any way of incorperating the theme and ViStart? I would like it very much if it all flowed together! Thanks so much and great work with your XP to 7 tutorial. Love it!

@hardik joshi

You should first install Windows Server 2003 first and then install Windows Server 2008 so that there arent any conflicts between the OSs.

@VG

Can I run XP mode on a computer that doesnt support Intel virtualization, for example use a software that doesnt need virtualization because I have Windows 7 Ultimate with all the requirements but it wont work giving information that the computer doesnt support hardware-assisted virtualization
