I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and on my machine Folder Options is missing the File Types tab. I recently went from Office 2007 to Office 2010 and find that an .XLS file I use frequently takes almost two minutes to load in Office 2010. That same file loaded without any delay in Office 2007. The fixes I have found online all involve making adjustments under the File Types tab, which evidently existed in Windows XP. There must be a way to make those changes without the tab, but I am not an expert at getting “under the hood” of Windows. Any help/guidance would be appreciated.
