I think you will find that the problem referenced here runs much deeper than this. The problem can be triggered, or not triggered, by the tweak listed here. The problem can occur on a fresh install. The problem has been discussed for countless pages by software testers and programmers.

Many professionals, including those with Microsoft, wished that this "fix" would work.

Hi!
Before mentioning my problem i'd like to apologize for my english.. I'm not a native speaker, but well I'll do my best.

Since a few months I'm heaving this problem with this error message (in german). I'm googling now almost 7 months for sollutions, but I have never found one.

The problem is that I have never disabled the Libraries but nevertheless I'm having this error message!! It is really getting on my nerves, so what can I do?

Maybe this error message has something to do with the fact, that I moved the Desktop from C to D? I thought it would be easier saving all my personal stuff in one partition. If this is the cause of this error message, how can I re-move the Desktop from D to C? I'm aksing because i cannot find the instruction of this procedure anymore.

Anyone an idea??? Please help me!!! This error message appears to me a few times a day and it is very annoying! :( Your help would be a great Christmas Present for me :)

@Henk
As mentioned in the topic, I didnt get this error after using the hack in SP1. So you can go ahead and check yourself. If you get the error, restore the settings again.

What's not clear to me here: what should I do if I want to KEEP the whole library nonsense thingy disabled under SP1? Should I re-disable libraries again, after first having restored the default settings? Or would, in that case, the "not found" error dialogs reappear as well? If the latter is true, then what is the proper way to wipe out all library references under SP1?
Thanks for a little more clarification!
