The add-on is called "All-Glass Firefox" created by Ambroos. This add-on adds Aero Glass in Firefox menubar, addressbar, statusbar, Navigation and Bookmarks toolbar.

It also adds a text shadow effect for the text which looks great with the glass.

You can download it using following link:

  • Thank you man

  • the tool is great, but on vista home basic it has'nt a glass effect...

  • eso no hace una mierda esto esta igual y tengo vista starter

  • Another Link Please

    It Shows Problem Loading Page

  • On my system the menu is nicely placed in the glass frame but all toolbars are black and not transparent.

    -- Any hints??

  • Found the problem with black toolbars:

Seems that this addon does not fully compatible with the addon "WebDeveloper Toolbar". When both addons are installed an activated the toolbars are displayed in black.

The question is: which of the both addons causes the problem??

Also some other toolbars are displayed "normal" (no glass effect): StumbleUpon Toolbar and Delicious Toolbar (they cause no problem but it does not look so nice)

  • doesn't work for my Vista Basic.:(

  • Doesn't work with Echofon (previously called "Twitterfox") either. Hope that helps someone!
