I updated my Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family and now I can't adjust the screen brightness, please help me, what can I do!?

When I try to update my Intel® 82845G Graphics Controller from v.6.10 to v.14. it says installing v.6.10, and i reboot but it still did not update, can you please help me?

^^ I don't know but this DriverMax software does the similar thing. It can re-install all drivers within a few minutes.
