Got it installed and running. Never asked you for any credit card details. You just paste the license key that you got from your email and that's it. Those people who said you need to give credit cards details to run this program must be from other anti-virus developer who is jelous that they can't give their software for free.

hey vg, i've installed it but now my system looks like if i were in safe mode, i can't change the wallpaper and cannot restore the system, i uninstalled it, but that didn't work, any help?

Downloaded it. Without any credit card request O_o they just asked me for my name and email, and sent the download link and license key. I guess you did something wrong guys.
Installed on Windows 7. Works perfectly. Yep it locked my VPN connections initially, but when I created the rule everything became OK.

No, CREDITCARD info's must! I'm not sure what's going on? or ZoneAlarm has got a tricky filter (which apply to user countries/locations or something else)?
I come from a small country in E.Asia and the checkout wizard in ZAlarm site REQUIRES me give credit card anyway!! No fcking developer care about that cheap, just failed user who can't download it for free and don't figure out what's really free n simple giving away around there.... Ahhh~ ... God d4mn it. They require credit card info and surely I don't have got to provide (even I own one I won't provide for that tricky step). Can't just give free 24h promo software as a freeware without those scking sh1tzzz.

I'm not jealous about nothing, it only sounds to me as some kind of country discrimination, if you offer anything for free at internet, must be free for all not for many.

Then redirect to hjjp://download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/sum/index.html. Then people click to download image to download freebie. But next step redirect to hjjp://www.zonealarm.com/security/cart.htm. This step people SHOULD uncheck "ZoneAlarm Extended Download Service" and "ZoneAlarm Backup CD" from shopping cart otherwise you'll need to pay $18.90 extra (as author said above). Then next step go to credit card, I can't comeover that step which after that, probably it'll provide download link as result of free order process.

Then NO long order steps, no CREDIT-CARD, no complex tricky wizard with +$18.9, only a panel display and ALL INFO which you need to provide is your 1st/last name and email address. Not any trick around there anymore if you pick up right/correct URL.
~P.S. I'm still not sure. 'coz it said email'll come within 12 hrs. Now I don't see any email from ZAlarm. Also when i tried to use this offer, they asked for Creditcard information. I live in germany.
Since i do not own a creditcard that was it for me.
