ObjectDock Plus is not free - this is the first FREE dock to add system tray support. It also forces you to choose between displaying the system tray OR running tasks. Under Nexus you can have both on the same dock.

As for the 3rd party systray docklet, it does not work properly under Vista and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work at all under 64 bit versions of Windows.

The systray in Nexus works under all Windows versions, 32 or 64 bit, from Windows 2000 onwards. With the last 10.3 update it also has two modes: single icon or groupped mode (the latter saves a lot of dock real estate). You can set the mode in the Effects tab of Nexus Preferences.

The Nexus control icon can now be handled like any other icon (Winstep has been listening to user feedback): if you right click on it, there's an option to remove it (or you can select Dock Entry Properties so it uses an image of your choice).

I suggest you guys read the Help file to have a notion of how powerful Nexus really is (and figure out where everything is ;-).

The Nexxus icon can be removed; it's in the settings. I've got to admit, this toy does a ton of things.

Seems great, thanks VG.

I will try it out atleast. If the NeXus icon doesn't bother me too much, it's a keeper!

Keep it up! :)
