There were tabbed chats in messenger plus for ages :/
All they managed to do is turn msn into facebook

I knew MSN plus had tabbed chats, but to me, they weren't appealing. In the leaked versions of WLM 2011 I saw that they looked quite nice... But that's in my opinion.
The Social side to WLM 2011... They need to improve the Facebook thingies, so that the pages you join or "like" don't post random crap on your home page. i.e. Check out your "home.live.com" and add Facebook to the services or something like that, and you'll see that pages you join can post and is viewable via MSN. To me... That's just ugly. Haha, all I want is my friends' info and etc.
Still can't wait though. I hope they update MSN plus too because everyone uses it and unless I set the contact names to show their First and Last names... I'm gonna be seeing these #C3240345 crap or something in their name/pm.

I think I'll pass. Normally, I would have upgraded, but it bothers me that they monkey around with customization, giving you options and then taking those options away. You used to be able to colorize Window Media player, now you cannot. I can reluctantly accept that with Media Player, and overlook it, but I doubt that I can overlook that in Windows Live Essentials. I'm really tired of the generic baby blue that MS insists on using for everything these days. Why they got rid of the colorize feature Live Essentials is a mystery. I'll keep the current Live Essentials, that way I can have my Pumpkin or Lime colors. Sure, I don't get the ribbon UI, but that's live. There are always tradeoffs, and I would rather have the ability to colorize. Besides, I have the ribbon on Wordpad, Paint and Movie Maker.
