Download Windows 8 Concept Login Screen “Gloosh” for Windows 7
Today in this topic we are going to share Windows 8 concept login screen for Windows 7 users.
“Gloosh” login screen has been created AskVG’s DA group member “pegel” after being inspired from a Windows 8 concept found on Internet.
This login screen features Windows 8 Metro UI along with some cool animations which look really amazing.

Following is a preview of this login screen in action:
This login screen supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 editions and you’ll need to replace a system file to be able to enjoy it.
HOW TO INSTRUCTIONS:
1. First download following file:
Download Windows 8 Concept Login Screen for Windows 7
2. Now go to “C:\Windows\System32” folder and take ownership of authui.dll file. To take ownership, you can take help of following tutorial:

PS: We assume that you have installed Windows 7 in C: drive, if its installed in some other drive in your system, change C:\ to that drive letter.

3. Once you have taken ownership of the file, rename it to some other name like authui_bak.dll
4. Now extract the downloaded RAR file using 7-Zip or WinRAR and copy new authui.dll file from the appropriate folder to “C:\Windows\System32” folder.
5. That’s it. Windows will start using the new file and you’ll enjoy the new login screen.

Dude, i have been using this gloosh effect login for quite a time now, but i want to replace it with the original because it lags at times, i didn’t make a backup, any suggestions? Please help!

It actually looks like the longhorn logon screen.
isn’t it available for xp ?? specially the interface ?? i am waiting …it’s awesome:-)
^^ Its only available for Windows 7. You can try to customize Windows XP login screen yourself using Resource Hacker and replace existing resources with this login screen resources such as background image, etc. You can take a 3rd party XP login screen as a base.

^^ You’ll need to restore original authui.dll file or you can repair Windows using setup disc.

i m using win 7 (32 Bit.) I change the file name.but new file could not be copy.It shown a error msg.
This does not work for W7 with 32-Bit, Right? In the website of the download say that this Login Screen work for 64-Bit and 86-Bit, but anything for 32-Bit. You have to change that and read better, dude.
^^ x86 and 32-bit are same.
x86 = 32-bit
x64 = 64-bit
