Windows 7 Explorer contains a new revamped shellstyle which looks neat and simple. You can get the same shellstyle in Windows Vista by applying a 3rd party theme which was posted at following link:

If you are a Windows XP user and want to enjoy the same shellstyle, then you can download it from following link:

This shellstyle has been created by "leosss" which provides the same Windows 7 shellstyle in XP.
Its a RAR file, extract it using WinRAR or 7-zip and you'll get a "shellstyle.dll" file. Now you'll need to replace existing "shellstyle.dll" file present in "%windir%\Resources\Themes\Theme_name\Shell\NormalColor" folder.
For example, if you are using "VistaVG Ultimate" theme, then you'll need to replace the "shellstyle.dll" file present in any of the following folders based upon which sub-style you are using in your system:
%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\NormalColor
%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\Aero48
%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\Basic32
%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\Basic48
%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\Black32
%windir%\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Ultimate\Shell\Black48
That's it. Once you replace the file, it'll change the Explorer shellstyle immediately.

^^ Have you replaced the shellstyle.dll file in the VS folder which you are using atm? Try to re-apply the theme.

What happens i probably that Windows 'restore itself'. I have heard of a function in Windows (I use XP) where Windows monitor its 'crucial files' to make sure that the system runs stable.
What happens to me is that the moment that I copy the file over to the folder that I am using, explorer reports that the file has the new file size and date. But if I the press Refresh then I have the same old file.
I don't know how to prevent this, though I'm sure it's posible.

How do I do this if I am using the SevenVG Theme with Superbar? I don't think that that one has a shellstyle folder, or where it is...
