"Windows 7 RC Build 7048" comes with lots of changes like the new Start ORB, a few new icons for Paint, Calculator, etc. But did you know it also comes with lots of new Sound schemes and wallpapers?
Here we are sharing all the new sound schemes, wallpapers, icons and video sample present in this latest Windows 7 build. Many thanks to JCXP forum for sharing the stuff.
Windows 7 RC Build 7048 Sound Schemes:
Windows 7 RC contains 13 new sound schemes which you can download them using following link:
Download Sound Schemes
After downloading the file, extract it and you'll get 13 folders containing the sound files. To apply the new sound scheme, first take a backup of existing sound files present in "%windir%\Media" folder (here %windir% means "Windows" folder present in system drive where your Windows is installed). Then copy the new sound files from any of these new 13 folders and paste them in "Media" folder. That's it.

^^ Open regedit and goto:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
In right-side pane, make sure value of "Beep" is set to yes
If its not, change it to yes and restart your system. Now you should hear the login sound. Also double check from Sounds properties that proper sounds are set to login and log off events.

I checked the value of Beep as VG told,but the value is already yes,so any other advice?Thanx in advance.

could you get the start menu on the windows 7 refresh theme to not cut off the links to like my documents or control panel?

Please check the sounds settings and try to play the wav files which are set for login and log off events.
