A few minutes back we posted about recently leaked Windows 7 build 7057:

This new build contains a new login screen which looks awesome and now good news is, you can get the same login screen in Windows Vista and all previous Windows 7 builds.
You can download the login screen from following link:

After downloading the ZIP file, extract it using WinRAR or 7-zip. Now install "Stardock LogonStudio for Vista" which is FREE and included in the pack.
After installing LogonStudio, double-click on the "SevenVG Login Screen.logonvista" file. It'll open in LogonStudio, apply the login screen and you have done.

When I install Logon Studio and run it a error message "Logon Vista has stopped working" comes.Can you tell me why?I am running Windows 7 build 7000 and all latest updates

^^ No idea. I have checked it and its working fine here in Build 7000 Public Beta. Try to run the app as Administrator and also try to run it in compatibility mode for Vista.

I am using Windows 7 and when i try to apply the defalt logon screen it does nothing,

For those whose Logon Studio is not working.Just get the wallpapers from above link or extract it from the file logonui for XP(available from the downloaded file for login screen for XP-windows 7 build 7057) using resource hacker and then use the software "Vista Visual Master" to apply it as login screen
