Yes, right the file ntkrnlmp.exe was what I did modify using reshacker extracting the bmps from your ntoskrnl.exe file. Although the image is not as crispy as the screenshot you put above, the colors looks different, and the gray bar is at the bottom of the screen instead of between the rectangle, I'm not sure if it's because i replaced the bmps only, maybe theres something else to modify to change where every bmp should appear on the screen?

^^ It seems your system uses the "ntkrnlmp.exe" file, thats why its not showing the new boot screen. Try to apply the boot screen using Tuneup Utilities.

Its not possible to have that kind of animated boot screen in XP and Vista.

VG, I replaced the ntoskrnl.exe, but even it's already replaced upon restarting still the original Windows XP screen appears, does it has something to do with the prefetcher file NTOSBOOT **.pf.

I verified the replaced file is replaced opening Jasc and loading a 16 palette, but don't why the screen is not showing.

I've XP SP3 in Spanish. Thanxs

Hai vishal, i was wondering if i cud create a animated boot screen for windows xp and
was searching for required materials in the web.....

but suddenly i had this doubt whether animated boot screen can be used in xp....
and tell me the softwares i can use to create animated boot screen

so any one with answers please help me...
