Recently we shared Windows 7 Login screen and Shellstyle for Windows XP:
Download Windows 7 Login Screen for Windows XP
Download Windows 7 Shellstyle for Windows XP
Now its turn of "Boot Screen". Windows 7 Beta contains a new boot screen which shows "Starting Windows..." text along with a glassy progressbar in the middle.
I have tried to create a similar boot screen "VistaVG Boot Screen" for Windows XP.

It looks similar to Windows 7 Beta boot screen. You can download it from following link:
Download Windows 7 Boot Screen for Windows XP
Extract the ZIP file and you'll get following 2 files:
- NToskrnl.exe
- VistaVG Seven Boot Screen.tbs
You can use any of the 2 files to enjoy the new boot screen.
If you want to use "NToskrnl.exe" file, then you'll need to replace existing "NToskrnl.exe" file present in "%windir%\System32" folder with this new one. You can use "Replacer" to replace the files which you can find in our "Downloads" section.
Or if you want to use the second file "VistaVG Seven Boot Screen.tbs", then you'll need Tuneup Utilities to apply it which is very safe.
UPDATE: Windows Vista users can also enjoy the new Windows 7 boot screen. Visit this link.

Hi Vishal Sir
I tested Windows 7 Boot Screen for Windows XP made by you working fine.
I tested it on my personal Unattended Win XP SP3. You have done great job.
Vishal Sir I want to put my name on boot screen and I've been trying for 1 month
to put my name on boot screen.
I've tried different software/editor to put my little name on boot screen but
result is ZERO ZERO.
These softwares I used for editing ntoskrnl.exe
Resource Tuner, ResHack, BootEditor and Pain Shop Pro.
I've never tried Hexa Editor Someone told me about it.
Vishal Sir, I want you to make a comlete Tutorial of ntoskrnl.exe boot screen

If you want to use "NToskrnl.exe" file, then you'll need to replace existing "NToskrnl.exe" file present in "%windir%\System32" folder with this new one. "

Thx for reply Vishal Sir
I think you did not get my point, Sir, I dont dont wana use any type of utility like
StyleXp, Stardock and TuneUp Utilities. I wana edit Original file ntoskrnl.exe like you.
TuneUp Utilities dose not creat original file ntoskrnl.exe or edit it.
If it can creat or edit original file i dont know about it.
Sir im trying to edit original becouse i know i can do it and i need your supervision.
VG
^^ Tuneup Utilities creates your new boot screen as "Tukernel.exe" in "System32" folder which you can save anywhere else and can use as NToskrnl.exe in other systems.
Zilexa
Vishal, Vince method does NOT work if your system uses ntkrnlpa.exe instead of ntoskrnl.exe. Vince's method only works if your system uses ntoskrnl.exe. Also what you are saying about Tuneup is incorrect. You can NOT use tukernel.exe in other systems if you have created it on a ntoskrnl system, it will lead to infinite boot failures on ntkrnlpa systems.
Please don't get me wrong, but the information you are giving here can cause serious damage to people's pc. Vince's method will lead to infinite boot failures. You will have to try Safe Mode and restore boot.ini.
So if you have a multicore cpu, this boot screen will NEVER work.
Excuse me for asking this for so many times, but why are you so unwilling to simply share the bitmaps so people can edit their ntkrnlpa.exe ?
Zilexa
Sorry VG, but even Safe Mode won't work, you can access the boot menu via F8 but Safe mode won't even start!!
So people BE CAREFULL WITH VINCE METHOD OR SIMPLY RENAMING IT TO NTKRNLPA.EXE !!
:(:(
I had to use an old backup cd

Nice! I came by searching Google. Good instructions and upload!
But is there something wrong with ntoskrnl.exe? I replaced it but doesn't change like other people does.
Can you upload that boot screen file for 'Bootskin' software format?
I am using that for changing boot screens and it is easy to use.
anyway sorry for my English.. ^_^ from japan
