If you are a Windows XP user and trying to make your XP look like Windows 7, then here is something interesting for you.
This tutorial will help you in changing the look of Windows XP System Properties dialog box and make it look like Windows 7 dialog box.
Following is a preview of what you are going to get in XP:

You'll need to replace existing sysdm.cpl file present in %windir%\System32\ directory with this downloaded one. (Here "%windir%\ represents "C:\Windows" directory if your Windows is installed in C: drive). You can use "Replacer" to replace the file.
Also make sure to take the backup of original file before replacing it.

I have an older pc with only 256 MB of RAM, will using any of these themes hurt the performance of my pc?
Just tired of looking at the same OLD Windows XP looking themes and would like to use one of the cool Windows 7 themes.

Please VG ...i having a problem....that no Mather how much time i re-place and re-place ...after re-start computer .. and open the properties ...it still display the old (window xp) properties . May i know how to solve this problem ?

incredible how i CAN customize my boring xp os.
But could you help me find which file contains the "Computer name" TAB of that same properties windows.
Cause i need to customize something in it...
And doesn't seem to be in that "sysdm.cpl" file

i just found it !
It's "netid.dll" in system32
