Hi VG
I tried downloading the gamed from the first link using the download accelerator plus (DAP). Actually it is the first ever time i used DAP. I had to break downloading due to power failure. After reboot i found myself to be infected with w32.Almanahe.B. I cleared this with Avira. today while attempting to download again from the first link i find another file named va32_dappd.exe being simulatenously downloaded. Is it a problem with DAP or the link ?

i cant seem to play on windows vista.. even i set it into compatibility mode, it says that "launching in compatibility mode is impossible, turn off the compatibility mode in the property dialog"...

Vishal i'm getting this error and i couldn't start the game please help me find out what's wrong here's the message "An error has occurred while trying to initialize the display. Please chceck that your video driver are installed properly and then go to the Engine Options dialog to select a valid display mode." please reply quick i'm really eager to play the game is it because of my VGA Intel 82945g express chipset family

@VG, Hi this is udu_4u from Chip... Anyway. i can confirm that The Suffering does not let intel onboards run the game.....That's bad, the game looks awesome. Anyway it can be still played atleast on other chipsets...
