This theme has been made for Windows XP users who want to have "Windows 7" look in their Windows. This theme can make your Windows XP look like Windows 7.
"SevenVG" is the first Windows 7 look-a-like theme for Windows XP and almost all other themes available on net are based on it.
This theme is an update over previous "SevenVG R2" theme. Since Windows 7 Build 7057 has been leaked, this theme has been created to provide the same look in your XP. It contains lots of new resources and bug fixes:

Download SevenVG RC Theme for Windows XP
This theme contains 4 sub-styles:
- Aero32 (for 32x icon size)
- Aero48 (for 48x icon size)
- Basic32 (for 32x icon size)
- Basic48 (for 48x icon size)
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file and extract its content. You'll get a folder "SevenVG RC Theme for Windows XP by Vishal Gupta".
2. In this folder, you'll get 5 more folders:
- Extra Common Tasks (This folder contains 2 extra shell styles: Bottom and Left dark blue)
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Run Fonts.exe file to install them.)
- Iconized Taskbar Hack (This folder contains registry script to enable Iconized taskbar in Windows XP.)
- Styler Toolbar (This folder contains Styler setup and SevenVG styler toolbar skin. It'll provide Windows 7 look-a-like toolbar and commandbar in Explorer.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme. Run Theme.exe file to install it.)
3. Apply the theme using Desktop Properties and you have done.
4. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if its not patched, then download and run the UXtheme Patcher from here:

Great theme but where do i put the shell styles for extra common tasks

My taskbar and start menu is always classic even if I use Visual Styles.
How can I fix it? I hope you'll answer this.

^^ It seems your system is not patched properly to use 3rd party themes. Run the correct version of UXtheme patcher in Safe mode.

Mister VG, you are legend. Your work is, quite simply, unparalleled. Your VistaVG and SevenVG themes are really a lifesaver for people like me who can't afford to move on from XP. And it's true, most of the other themes on the internet are based on your genius. I've tried numerous works by other artists, but they are all modified versions of VistaVG and SevenVG and to be honest they work less than half as well as yours. Thank you so much. I appreciate your work and I look forward to updates to this beautiful theme in the future.

i was checking the net for the windows 7 black edition theme. I have seen the original black edition. so i was thinking that if you could try to make the black edition theme cuz it looks really amazing.

^^ You'll need to apply VistaVG icon pack. You can find it in XP Themes section.

when im installing the Iconized taskbar hack, it say's that it is not a valid win32 application. so
i end up nothing. any advise?

^^ It seems Registry editor is corrupt in your system. Try to repair Windows or run following command in Command Prompt:
sfc /scannow
