@Arvin V. Malabanan
Did you try to repair Icon cache? This option is present in IconTweaker menus.
Arvin V. Malabanan
did you mean rebuild icon cache vg? just tried it when you advise me so but the problem is not yet solved :( jpeg's icons is still xp icon for jpeg. maybe there's an other way to solve that. my problem is solved when i install again startdock but maybe i stick to icontweaker because it is free. please tell me vg if there's another solution to my problem. thanks. have a nice day vg :)
Arvin V. Malabanan
maybe i know what's the problem in my case. my jpeg files are associated with acdsee. when i set it to open with windows fax and picture viewer, the icon fixes and used the seven icon for jpeg using icontweaker. my problem now is i love to use adcsee as the default picture program. is there a way you know vg that the seven icon for jpeg will stay without setting jpeg files default application to windows fax picture viewer?
VG
^^ ACDSee uses its own icon, thats the problem. Nothing can be done except opening ACDSee EXE file in Resource hacker and manually change the file icon with Windows 7 icon.

wow that's cool! may i ask for a little guide on how to use resource hacker on acdsee to change the icon of jpeg? i use acdsee photo manager version 10. please send it to my email if you have free time :) thanks for the answer :D

still can't figure out how to use resource hacker in adcsee :D but i know how to use it
to change xp's copy animation box because of your guide. maybe i just need to accept the fact that acdsee uses its own icon on jpegs. sorry for being off topic but can i ask you vg what's the best and safe download manager? i am using orbit and eset firewall ask me if i will allow or deny connection on an application called orbitnet.exe. i don't know what's that orbitnet... maybe orbit downloader is not safe anymore.
VG
^^ Free Download Manager and Flashget are best. If you want paid one, then go for Internet Download Manager.
Arvin V. Malabanan
i'll try those 3 download manager. thanks vg. but is flashget ok? from the past i heard that it has spyware or something. thanks for the reply vg! :D
VG
^^ No. Its safe.
