UPDATE: New version available - SevenVG Black RTM Theme
Normal Taskbar version available - SevenVG Black Theme with Normal Taskbar
This theme is a Black version of "SevenVG" theme for Windows XP which is the first Windows 7 look-a-like theme for Windows XP and almost all other themes available on net are based on it.

This theme contains 2 sub-styles:
- Aero32 (for 32x icon size)
- Aero48 (for 48x icon size)
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file and extract its content. You'll get a folder "SevenVG Black Theme for Windows XP by Vishal Gupta".
2. In this folder, you'll get 5 more folders:
- Extra Common Tasks (This folder contains 2 extra shell styles: Bottom and Left dark blue)
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Run Fonts.exe file to install them.)
- Iconized Taskbar Hack (This folder contains registry script to enable Iconized taskbar in Windows XP.)
- Styler Toolbar (This folder contains Styler setup and SevenVG styler toolbar skin. It'll provide Windows 7 look-a-like toolbar and commandbar in Explorer.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme. Run Theme.exe file to install it.)
3. Apply the theme using Desktop Properties and you have done.
4. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if its not patched, then download and run the UXtheme Patcher from here:

Dear Vishal,
All your skins look great. A black skin sounds great too, will definitely check it out.
But just like someone else requested above, a black logon screen would really go a long way
And just one more thing, the blue Windows 7 Logon screens (yours and Rauls) look great but it would be nice if it said Windows XP and not Windows 7, what say?

In case this wonderful theme is updated... please try one more little black row of pixels to make the taskbar pop-up from its hiddes state when you move the mouse down to the lower border of the screen. ^_^
The theme is so cool that I STILL use it, despite this little misbehaviour. Sometimes I have to move my mouse from left to right a little to make the taskbar appear. A beahaviour not worthy of the otherwise perfect theme!!!
(by the way, I'm very close to adjust this "handle-bar" myself if I knew an easy and preferably free tool to do so ^_-)

Fixed. BottomResizeBar height changed from 1 to 2 pixels.
Sorry for so many complaining posts. Now the bar is truely "super"!

can you make new orb just like in the wallpaper for this black theme , i think it will fit this theme nicely ..

This is awesome to have that little bug fixed. With the iconized button hack I found I'd have enough room in my taskbar to just deal with the bug, the themes were just too cool not to use anyway, but now that this is fixed the only problem I have no is deciding which I like better, regular or black. Great work and thanks for sharing it with us!

Hey this a great theme, but there is a problem for me. When i click on the start button, it always shows half of the icons for the buttons on the right. Like the my computer and my documents buttons, it shows half of the original icon. Its cut off. In the screen shot above, there isn't even any icon, how do i get it like that?

Only problem is, the orb in the wallpaper appears stretched, thanks to my 17" screen with the 1280 x 1024 resolution. But that's a minor problem and doesn't impair your masterful creation, Mr VG

But it can't support Chinese......like some mp3s and videos titles......
