UPDATE: New version available - SevenVG Black RTM Theme
Normal Taskbar version available - SevenVG Black Theme with Normal Taskbar
This theme is a Black version of "SevenVG" theme for Windows XP which is the first Windows 7 look-a-like theme for Windows XP and almost all other themes available on net are based on it.

This theme contains 2 sub-styles:
- Aero32 (for 32x icon size)
- Aero48 (for 48x icon size)
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file and extract its content. You'll get a folder "SevenVG Black Theme for Windows XP by Vishal Gupta".
2. In this folder, you'll get 5 more folders:
- Extra Common Tasks (This folder contains 2 extra shell styles: Bottom and Left dark blue)
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Run Fonts.exe file to install them.)
- Iconized Taskbar Hack (This folder contains registry script to enable Iconized taskbar in Windows XP.)
- Styler Toolbar (This folder contains Styler setup and SevenVG styler toolbar skin. It'll provide Windows 7 look-a-like toolbar and commandbar in Explorer.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme. Run Theme.exe file to install it.)
3. Apply the theme using Desktop Properties and you have done.
4. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if its not patched, then download and run the UXtheme Patcher from here:

i have a request VG. If you have spare time, can you make a windows 7 log-in screen wide screen if possible for xp in black version so it will match your new black theme. i'm your black theme fan since the time you make your vista black theme for xp

What do you mean by Black Login screen? Windows 7 login screen is blue and looks great with this black theme as well.

well maybe a black/grey backgrounded logon screen but it's ok if you will not make one. just made a suggestion
this black theme really rocks! i'm so excited when i opened my computer everytime.
oh i have a question. i tried xwindowsdock and it's so cool. i try objectdock too. but i have a problem in objectdock. everytime i watch a video file in my pc (.avi or .mkv for example) in full screen using media player classic (from cccp) and objectdock is enabled, it shows no video. only sound. i can repair it by disabling objectdock or disabling overlay option in media player classic. my question is: can i fix the problem in playing video in full screen while objectdock is running and overlay is not disable in media player classics's option? sorry if my english is bad. sorry for being off topic too. thanks again for the black windows 7 theme for xp! Vishal rocks and rules! ^_^
