UPDATE: New version available - SevenVG Black RTM Theme
Normal Taskbar version available - SevenVG Black Theme with Normal Taskbar
This theme is a Black version of "SevenVG" theme for Windows XP which is the first Windows 7 look-a-like theme for Windows XP and almost all other themes available on net are based on it.

This theme contains 2 sub-styles:
- Aero32 (for 32x icon size)
- Aero48 (for 48x icon size)
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the file and extract its content. You'll get a folder "SevenVG Black Theme for Windows XP by Vishal Gupta".
2. In this folder, you'll get 5 more folders:
- Extra Common Tasks (This folder contains 2 extra shell styles: Bottom and Left dark blue)
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Run Fonts.exe file to install them.)
- Iconized Taskbar Hack (This folder contains registry script to enable Iconized taskbar in Windows XP.)
- Styler Toolbar (This folder contains Styler setup and SevenVG styler toolbar skin. It'll provide Windows 7 look-a-like toolbar and commandbar in Explorer.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme. Run Theme.exe file to install it.)
3. Apply the theme using Desktop Properties and you have done.
4. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to allow 3rd party visual styles, if its not patched, then download and run the UXtheme Patcher from here:

When I download UXTheme Patcher, and restart computer, it don't start.. I have to put in the desk and get a whole new windows xp. It's like my System is getting hurt.
Please add msn and help me.

This theme is great, I only have one small problem. When I click on start and the select program opens I still see a part of the icon of My Documents, My Pictures, Control Panel, Run, etc. I noticed on your site that the white part covers these icons and all you see is My Documents, My Pictures, Control Panel, Run, etc. with no icons. How can I fix this please?

When I make the icons smaller everything is ok, but I would like to have the larger icons and when I make them larger, they partially appear when I click on start button. I really like the theme and I use "Styler" to modify icon spacing and size.

but in my pc the taskbar appers a bit too thick which is not so in the original virsion
