Download SevenVG Black RTM Theme with Normal Taskbar for Windows XP

Recently I released "SevenVG Black RTM" theme for Windows XP which is a Black version of my "SevenVG RTM" theme.

Lots of people requested for a Normal Taskbar (Thin Taskbar) version of this theme and I'm glad to announce that "SevenVG Black RTM with Normal Taskbar" is available to download now.

How to Use:

1. Once you download the ZIP file, extract it. You'll get a folder "SevenVG Black RTM Theme with Normal Taskbar for Windows XP".

2. In this folder, you'll get 5 more folders:

Extra Common Tasks (This folder contains 2 extra shell styles: Bottom and Left dark blue.)
Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Run Fonts.exe file to install them.)
Iconized Taskbar Hack (This folder contains registry script to enable Iconized taskbar in Windows XP.)
Styler Toolbar (This folder contains "Styler" setup file and "SevenVG RTM" Styler skin. You can apply it to get Windows 7 look-like commandbar in Windows XP Explorer.)
Theme (This folder contains the main theme. Run Theme.exe file to install it.)

3. Run "Theme.exe" file present in "Theme" folder and apply the theme using Desktop Properties.

4. Also make sure you have patched the "uxtheme.dll" file to be able to use 3rd party themes in Windows. If its not patched yet, download and run UXtheme Patcher using following links:

i've seen themes like this and used them for XP when i had it before...but they wee all unfinished and not so good.

thanks vg for the normal version! my cousin prefers this one because he still uses crt that makes the normal taskbar version looks good in 4:3 screen. I still love your original thick taskbar that really got the looks of the newest microsoft os

oh i have a question vg. i want to know how to make my desktop perfect.

as you can see... the show desktop icon in quick launch is not in seven icon form. it seems icontweak does not affect the show desktop icon. is there a tweak i can do to make show desktop icon change its icon into a seven icon form?

Change the 3rd line:

IconFile=explorer.exe,3

to your desired icon location like shell32.dll,26

How do you uninstall the Styler thing...

I don't need it. It's just very stupid (no offense really), 'cause those "vista buttons" are fake.

The colour changer and font thing aren't very usefull, I really need a unistaller VG. Please help!

Yay! Thanks VG! I've got it! the only thing that makes me sweat is the shell32.dll,26. i thougt at first that it is the real icon for show desktop but instead i tried to use:

D:\SevenVG IconTweaker Theme for Windows XP\Icon Theme\SevenVG Icon Theme.icl,47 and it works! thanks again VG! your awesome! Have a nice day!

Right-click on Explorer toolbar and uncheck "Styler" option.

Yo. Looks pretty nice yeah, but I really do hate that font, it's just doesn't fit, is there a way to change it?

^^ You can change the fonts using "Appearance" tab in Desktop Properties.

First off, thanks for your hard work putting this togather, it's a major upgrade from the XP gui, and everything works good. However, I'm running 1280x800 res, and was wondering

how to make the vista/7 style min/rest/close buttons at the top bigger? When i try they stay the same size, but expand away from each other and look cheesy. Other than that, i'm happy with the style.
