  1. Previously, I was facing site compatibility problems in opera ,, some sites shrink to the middle of the screen just like anything… out of placed menu, icons, iframes, etc. Then one day by mistakenly i turned off the option “Fit to width” in opera>page>fit to width(or ctrl+F11)… After that till now no problems.. even facebook site runs great…. And i have completely switched over to opera now.! 🙂

  2. Opera’s great. I’ve been using it almost 10 years. Many of the tweaks and things that you say “mimic” Mozilla probably originated with Opera.

  3. I really love Opera but I’m using Chrome and Firefox because every time when I install Opera it starts to bugging and crashing and… It doesn’t work, guys. We have a jobs to do, we have no time to searching the internet for patches or solutions to make it work, ok? Opera does not do the basic thing – search the web. Period.
    I hope one day Opera will become the best browser on market 😉
    Cheers!

  4. Why does Opera continue to crash. Mine has been crashing often in at least the last three versions. Also, on Speed Dial, is there a way to combine folders, or create sub folders? I use Speed Dial extensively and I want to organize it similar to bookmarks structure.

  5. Since the last update, Opera keeps crashing (closing down by itself and re-opening the home page) on my Mac 2012. Please fix it as I really love Opera and don’t want to stop using it.

  6. Opera no longer seems to have a way to add the HOME button to the toolbar, if there’s a way how do we do it?.

  7. RIDICULOUS! Opera updated, by itself, and removed ALL of my custom settings. Flash will NOT work now. I’m not happy with this update and have gone back to FF. At least I can play my flash game with that browser. I’m not happy with this new update to Opera.

  8. Mozilla Firefox Quantum is the best for me!
    Thanks Vishal Gupta. Your website has only seconds to capture interest, perfect simple design & great help content. I’ll tell everybody, “You should visit askvg site.”

  9. Many users ask for 32 bit and 64 bit version of Opera Browser, many users says 64 bit version of Opera has been discontinued, but actually 64 bit version of Opera browser not discontinued but hidden. Now you can download Opera Browser and all other browsers in both 32 bit and 64 bit from official and hidden link(depend on your system type):

    Opera 32 and 64 bit(hidden link):
    get.geo.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/

    Mozilla Firefox(in available specific language):
    mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

    Google Chrome(offline installer):
    google.com/intl/en/chrome/?standalone=1

    Vivaldi
    vivaldi.com/download/

  10. Why are some ppl running opera version 18 and i am on version 67.0.3575.31 64 bit

    i love opera. no major issues. not as quick and dirty as chrome. and some sites dont load. but way faster than anything that ends in fox. and edge is just a very busy clutters mess to me.

  11. Question Regarding Edge Browser:

    In Google’s chrome setup it’s possible to specify any URL desired when a new tab is opened. Very convenient! This does not exist in Edge; we are force fed MS’s desired page upon opening a new tab.

    Is there a registry hack or other method to control the URL pointer when the new tab is opened in Edge? Remember, we are trying to have Edge do exactly what Chrome offers for control over new tabs.

    Thanks!

  12. Any way to get something analogous to about:config? Specifically, browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground? I see no way to get to this or an equivalent setting. If Opera GX doesn’t quit stealing focus when I click email links, I’m going to have to swap back to Firefox – it’s worthless to me otherwise.

  13. Opera version Version:74.0.3911.203 takes forever to load and speed dial even longer. This occurs on Windows 10 on both computer I have tried it on. The bug occurred only after Opera had had time to update itself and only after I enabled Internet access on the second computer.

    Since some of the features I like in Opera have now become largely unusable, I will have to look elsewhere. I hope they release the next update soon!

    This is the worst update for a long time.

  14. I have been using Opera on linux under XFCE.

    Unforunately after having it updated to Version: 80.0.4170.40 it does not seem to respect my window managers’ settings for preventing the stealing of focus.

    What can I do to stop the annoying stealing of focus?

    I have seen others also complaining about this bug (or feature).

  15. ^^ It might be a bug and should be fixed in future releases. You should contact Opera feedback team and report the bug.

  16. Opera’s latest update, V97.0.4719.28, introduces an obvious bug into the browser.

    The “Menu” icon/link typically displayed in the upper left-hand side of the browser is now gone.

    Details: prnt.sc/A1hUU0biLYLf

    The only way to bring it back (temporarily) is to either minimize then maximize the browser or going to “Easy Setup” > “Appearance” and then clicking “Autohide” followed by “Off.”

    Details: prnt.sc/IoB4eudyRkLJ

    Surprised the developers of Opera didn’t catch this before releasing this version.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Cheers!

  17. A recent hard drive crash wiped out my html opera bookmarks file. Is there any way to retrieve my previous settings online?

  18. ^^ If your were syncing bookmarks, you can restore them by signing into Opera using same account.
