If you are using recently released Microsoft Office 2010 Beta and want to access your Windows Live Hotmail account in Outlook 2010, you should install the new updated version of Outlook Connector. Microsoft has updated Outlook Connector to version 14 which is compatible with Outlook 2010 Beta.
A few AskVG readers reported that they are getting following error message in Outlook 2010:
Cannot open you default e-mail folders. An unexpected error has occured.
MAPI was unable to load the information service msncon.dll. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured.
To fix this error, just uninstall previous version of Outlook Connector from Add/Remove Programs (or Programs and Features) applet in Control Panel and install the new version 14.
