I used it, exclusively, on my old "browse the web only" laptop. This laptop is running XP Pro- MS updates off, no antivirus at all...nothing. After six months, I thought I'd give it a viri/spyware scan at MS Onecare, online. There was absolutely NOTHING on it! No viri, spyware, nor cookies.... Impressive. T I downloaded FF Portable to a folder on my C drive- made a shortcut to my desktop. I used it, exclusively, on my old "browse the web only" laptop.
