UPDATE: A new version 2.5 has been released which includes updated Stylish code to fix large bookmarks bar. So download the updated version.
We know that Mozilla Firefox 3.7 is under development and it has been announced that Firefox 3.7 will support Aero Glass and will have a new interface. "BoneyardBrew" along with "SoapyHamHocks" @ DeviantART has created a new theme which provides almost same interface as shown in the 3.7 mockups. Following is a screenshot of this theme:

If you want the same look in your Firefox 3.0 or later, follow these simple steps:
STEP 1: First download the theme using following link:
Download Mozilla Firefox 3.7 Theme
Its a ZIP file. Extract it using WinRAR or 7-Zip. You'll get a .ZAR file which contains the actual theme. Drag-n-drop this file to "Add-ons" window in Firefox and it'll install the theme.
STEP 2: You'll also need to install the "All Glass Firefox" add-on to get the Glass effect which can be found here.
STEP 3: If you also want to get the "Tools" button near "Searchbox" as shown in the screenshot, install "Personal Menu" add-on using following link:
It'll add the "Tools" button near searchbox. Now right-click on empty area near addressbar or searchbox and select "Customize" option. Now drag "Bookmarks" button between searchbox and Tools button.
Now go to "Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions" menu and select "Personal Menu" from the list. Click on "Options" button and go to "Advanced" Tab. Enable "Hide Drop-Marker" option. Also enable "Hide Menus Toolbar" and "Show temporarily by pressing ALT key" options to hide menubar.
STEP 4: If you face problem while reading text on inactive tabs, you'll need to apply the code given in "newtabfix.txt" present in the downloaded ZIP file using "Stylish" add-on.
Once installed, copy the code from TXT file, click on the "Stylish" icon present in Statusbar and select "Write new style -> Blank style" option. Now paste the code in text area. Provide a suitable name to the style and click on "Save" button. That's it.
After following these steps, you'll enjoy the same interface in your favorite browser.

Hmmm when I run this I see my wallpaper in full unobstructed color through the entire top section of firefox as well as the status bar. Isn't supposed to be a blue color with light details from the wallpaper showing through? Can anyone set me straight on this?

I followed the instructions given in the page and got the theme applied, nevertheless the background is all black. Why? What do I need to do?
thank you

I had a similar problem as theaxeman. My toolbar was glassy, but the tab bar remained black. I've never had LastPass installed. In my case, the problem goes away if I disable the Web Developer extension. I suspect any type of toolbar extension would prevent All-Glass from working correctly.

I got a bug here (personal menu), i cannot get "Tools" icon, it alwasy shows "Menu", no matter i choose "icon" or "icon and text", other icons work fine. Annoying!

whats the difference between "all glass firefox" theme and this?
Don
Moroi, not sure if this will help you but I had this same problem because I had a program called WindowBlinds (Made by Stardock) installed. Once I disabled skinning for Firefox inside the Windowblinds control panel the black background went away.

I really do like this theme... I just don't know why though, I just like it.
@Addy,
Yes this will work on XP, I'm using it with XP. But you won't be able to get the transparency and use the "All Glass Firefox" add-on since XP doesn't support Windows Aero. It's still a nice theme though

Excellent! Works perfectly! It may even be better than what we'll see in Firefox 3.7, since there is full customization of the Toolbar menu, autohide of the menubar, and the ability to move the icons anywhere on the toolbar (which may not be the case with official 3.7). Great job for those responsible.
Some have asked about the glass effect disappearing when the window is maximized. That is the case with all windows that have the glass effect, including Internet Explorer. The maximized windows still looks good with this theme though.
Overall 5/5!
