Microsoft's new free anti-virus "Microsoft Security Essentials" (MSE) aka Morro is available to download. Its available for Windows XP, Vista and 7.
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available.
The build number is 1.0.1407.00 which is lower than the leaked version on torrents.
Its available for only first 75,000 users but Microsoft can increase the limit if required. So grab your copy asap.
You'll need a Windows Live ID and will have to fill a small survey before downloading it. Its available on Microsoft Connect.

@ VG: From what I read on the home page is that availability is to United States,(Israel-English only),(People's Republic of China-Simplified Only),and (Brazil-Brazilian Portuguese Only).It will not let you do anything on this page and it knows the country you are from.It even says I am unable to download because I am not from one of the designated countries.I was however able to download through Microsoft Connect by sign in with my hotmail/live id account.The survey followed before the download was allowed.Do not know if any of this is helpful but thought I should post anyway? Cheers Mate!
PS:If you see this could you reply to a question?I am assuming I have to remove any other AntiVirus Progs such as Avast! from my system before the install of Microsoft Security Essentials?What about Vista Defender,do I disable it completely or not?I run Vista HP X86 32BIT OS just for info.

^^ You can use other anti-virus with it but its not recommended. I'm using it along with NOD32 antivirus without any problem. As its under beta testing, we can't trust it much.
Regarding downloading from other countries, its true that its available only for selected countries, but the Connect link mentioned in the main topic should work for all.
