Many times we found ourselves in a difficult situation when our system cannot load in the regular way, for example due to virus infection or some system file missing, etc.
In such conditions, Rescue CD becomes very useful. You can simply boot using the rescue CD and can scan your system, remove the virus, copy/delete files, create/delete partitions and many other system tasks.
So a Rescue CD is a boon for all of us.
Many respected anti-virus companies are providing their rescue CDs free of cost. So here I'm sharing a few such free rescue CDs which you can download and burn for future use:

Hello again.
The system is set to boot first from CD. I have ather application that works O.K.
But it seems as if the folders I have downloaded, do not contain files for the uploading.
Do I have to do\add something, or use them as they are? Dose it have something
to do with Knoppix?
VG
^^ The downloaded file is an ISO file and you need to burn the file directly to a CD. Use the option Burn image in Nero.

Hi gurus,
I've been getting the "missing/corrupt HAL.dll file. Please re-install/copy file" everytime I boot my xp home notebook. Thought I could use the kapersky boot cd to format my hard disk. But even though I confirmed twice that the cd is the first boot device, I still get the "missing HAL.dll" error. Is it detecting the boot cd? Am i missing something?
Please help!!
Thanks.
