if i burn the files to the cd directly is it already a bootable cd?. this might look like a stupid question but unfortunately im not good at computers. just someone who crashes his laptop all the time. so how can i make it bootable?. thanks.

Kaspersky Rescue CD is for WINDOWS or Linux ????

^^ Rescue CDs are OS independent. These CDs don't require any OS installed. Just boot using them and do whatever you want.

Victo, It doesnt matter whether the Rescue CD is for Windows or Linux. You just burn the ISO image file to your CD-R then boot from it by restart your computer. Just like booting the OS from your CD.

Hello VG.
I have downloaded some of the progs: Kaspersky, BitDefender and F-Secure, but none of them work. Windows start as usual. I will appreciate your advice.
