If you love the look of Google's new web browser Chrome but don't want to leave your favorite Firefox, then here is a good news for you.
"Chromifox" is a new theme for Mozilla Firefox which can make your Firefox look-a-like Google Chrome. Believe me its really a neat skin. You'll love it.

Hey I got a question, maybe you could help me?
I'n using Chrome as standard browser now, for 2 reasons: it starts up fast and it loads pages fast. Although I question the security of Chrome, I'm pretty sure that my Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 solves most of the security issues...
Yet I would love to use firefox as my default browser (because it's safe!), but I have a main reason why I don't do it: firefox is a very good browser, but it starts up way too slow! If I click my firefox icon I can wait and wait until it finally shows up. Once the startup is done it works pretty comfortable, but I really hate waiting until FF finally shows up! I used soms tweak utility, Firetune, but it doesn't make any difference...
Internet Explorer is just the opposite: it starts up fast, but then you have to wait and wait until your pages show up.
Chrome doesn't has these 2 disadvantages. But there's still alot of work to be done until Chrome becomes a really safe browser: it doesn't have an adblock feature, in fact there aren't any plugins available at all. But Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 filters most of the ads, even in Chrome.
Still I am looking for a solution to start up firefox alot faster. Do you have any suggestions?
Thx in advance!
Riza
So, Mick right choice for you maybe is Opera. It starts up fast like IE and pages loads faster than FF. But problem is Opera has problem with flash and some compatibility isssues qith certain pages.

@mick
That's true, Firefox does take some time to start but you'll need to ignore this time if you want to use Firefox as everyone else does. Firefox is great browser and Chrome needs a lot features which will be added in future releases.

@Riza:
Maybe you're right. There's a possible advantage when using Opera on pc.
I am using the latest Opera Mini on my cell phone to browse the web and read feeds when I'm not at home or e.g. in bed, and the latest Opera release offers the cool feature to synchronize with Opera Mini, but I haven't try that feature yet. I will consider.
Thx for the advice.
@VG: because Chrome has in fact many compatibility issues with a lot of websites, I'm currently using Firefox back as default browser. Especially the Chromifox theme looks great! And it's alot safer, and I won't get annoyed with ads using Adblock Plus together with Filterset.G
BTW: another good thing: last weekend I finally finished tweaking my XP to Vista lay-out using your tutorial and this time I made some backups first and a rescue-disk, but now I finally succeeded to customize the whole thing using resource hacker without crashes, and everything works fine. Thx for that great tutorial!

Hi Everyone,
If we'll use Total ReChrome add-on for Firefox with Windows Vista and Chromifox 1 or 2 it will exactly look like Google Chrome. Total ReChrome Download Link
