After following this trick, whenever you'll run Office setup the product key will be automatically inserted and you'll not need to enter it manually.
Open "Setup.ini" file in the setup folder and add PIDKEY= <product_key_without_dashes> in [Options] section, as following:
[Options]
PIDKEY=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You'll find Setup.ini file in direct root of CD in case of Office 2000 and in case of Office XP, you'll find it in FILES\SETUP folder.
From now whenever you'll run the setup, the Product-Key will be auto-inserted.
PS: Remember there must be no Dashes between Product key's digits.

Apologies for posting here, but I don't seem to be successful anywhere else at your site to get my issue resolved... I am an admirer of your work, but I think that I am a victim of your success.
Issues: [XP, SP1-2-3/512RAM/120Gb]
1...can you have too many context menu items? ...and then there is a battle among which stay and which disappear...is there a limit? ..."merge" and "search" constantly have to be reinstalled
2...in right pane of Explorer...right click on any file or folder, or just in empty space...menu appears with options
now, the fun begins...trying to get the cursur/mouse to go where I want it to...it staggers like a drunken sailor dragging cannon balls chained to his feet and hops all over the place...after a couple times of trying to manoeuver the cursor to its destination, I give up and then try anew...it then seems to work like nothing was amiss...it looks like a tug of war between resources...
any suggestions...
