UPDATE: Utility version updated to 1.3 which now allows you to easily enable/disable titlebar text. Run the utility once to show titlebar text and run it again to disable titlebar text. So now the utility acts like a switch.
Have you ever wondered why Explorer Windows don't show titles in Windows Vista and 7? In earlier versions of Windows, we could see titlebar text in explorer windows but it has been removed in Vista and 7. Actually titlebar text was removed to make the Explorer clean and minimal.
But if you look carefully, other applications like Notepad, Paint, Internet Explorer, etc show the text in titlebar, so there must be a way to show it in Windows Explorer as well.
"AeroBar" is a very small and standalone application which can show the titlebar text in Windows Vista and 7 Explorer.

Simply download the utility from following link:
Run it and you'll see titlebar text in all Explorer windows. There is no need to install the app as its portable. If you like it and want to use it, you can add its shortcut in Windows startup.
To remove the titlebar text, run the utility again.

^^ Simply install each OS on separate partition and you'll be able to select the OS at startup. Remember to install older OS first. e.g. if you want to install XP, Vista and 7, then first install XP, then Vista and at last 7.

I'm impressed by the descriptions of Jean's program, and would like very much to download the newest version, but the links all lead to either pay services, or to an old version 1.0.0.0, or to psscript.net, which seems to be dead - I get error 404. Is there a working source for the current version of the freeware? I've seen references to v1.1 and v1.3. Thanks.

^^ You can select Free download option from downloading website.

VG, thank you for pointing that out. But, the program downloaded from the two mirrors posted here (rapidshare.com and mediafire.com) are both version 1.0. The author has posts referring to 1.1 and 1.3, with links to the "dead" site psscript.net.
the author says that version 1.1 is where he made the program a toggle. V1.0 does not toggle for me, in Windows 7. In fact, I have to run it repeatedly to get title bar text in each newly opened folder window.
I would find this capability extremely valuable, but I have been unable to find a way to contact the author directly, and hope he will see one of my posts and reply.
