Add Device Manager, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs Options in My Computer Context Menu



This tutorial will help you in adding following useful shortcuts to My Computer Context Menu (menu which appears when we right-click on My Computer icon on Desktop).

  • Control Panel
  • Device Manager
  • Software (Add/Remove Programs)

Just download following zip file, extract it and then run the .REG file to add the shortcuts:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell

    ^^ Sure. Open regedit and goto:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell

    Under this key, delete following keys:

    Control Panel
    DevMgr
    Software
