This tutorial will help you in adding an image in Desktop and Explorer context menu in Windows XP:
1. First download following ZIP file and extract the DLL file from it:
2. Now register the DLL file by giving following command:
regsvr32 DLL_File_Location
i.e., if you saved the DLL file in D:\Image.dll, then give following command:
regsvr32 d:\Image.dll
3. That's it. You'll get the image in context menu.
4. To remove the image simply un-register the DLL file by giving following command:
regsvr32 DLL_File_Location /u
NOTE: If you want to change the image, edit the file using Resource Hacker and change the image in the file. You can add any BMP file (max size 96x96).
PS: We got this DLL file in some magazine CD, if anyone knows the person behind this DLL file, please let us know and we'll provide proper credits to him.

^^ Boot into Safe Mode and run WFP patcher. Then restart your system. Now make sure there is no "shell32_original.dll" file in "System32" folder. If you find any, delete it.
Now try to edit the file again and save the file.

i am an hod of cse/it dept., at guntur, a.p.,
what my problem is , i downloaded resources file and i run it, a window is opened,
after that i am trying to open system32.dll , but it is saying that no longer valid.
tell me the steps to open system32.dll.

it is saying that verify the exact file name, it is not found.
what my doubt is where the file location to put , it is taking resourcehacker.

WHEN I CHANGE ANY SETTING WITH RESOURCE HACKER and after compilation when i want to save A WARNING msg. IS SHOWN " cannot create file c:\windows\system32......."
but before that i have change many settings with ur help that time i never face any problem.
