Ad Destroy: Disable and Remove All Unwanted ADs from Yahoo! Messenger

If you are visiting this place that means you are one of those people who are tired of annoying Yahoo! Messenger ads and want to get rid of them. Congratulations, you have come to the right place.

Here I'm sharing a special utility which is very small in size but can remove all annoying ads from all Yahoo! Messenger versions.

It automatically detects the installed version of Yahoo! Messenger and patches it.
It can remove the BIG ad which is displayed on main screen at bottom, it can also remove ads from chat rooms, webcams, etc.
It also creates a backup file so that you can restore it in future.
It also supports 64 bit platform.

This utility is called "Ad Destroy" which has been developed by "Dermot".

You just need to start the app, it'll detect the installed version of Yahoo! Messenger. Then click on "Patch" button and wait for a few seconds. It'll patch the messenger and will start it automatically. Now the ads will be gone and you can enjoy the ad free interface.

Hi bro
after applying this patch, can i still join in chat rooms? or browse the room lists?
coz ive tried other ad remover for yahoo messenger, yeah it removes ads but
when i try to Yahoo! Chat and view rooms, It only displays Getting room list, but none appears.

I downloaded this onto my XP machine, with YIM 9. I run AdDestroyer.exe and it tells me that there isnt a supported version of Yahoo Messenger installed. Thx!

I also have YIM v9.0.0.1912 on my Vista machine (x86/SP1/IE7/.net3.5) and the same message pops up when I run Addestroy.exe: "Sorry. This build of Messenger is not supported for Buddylist Ad Removal". Thanks!

i use yahoo messenger on my laptop,and there is this thing on it i want to disable,the CALL ICON.people always want to talk with me,but i don't want to.well how can i disable it.so that dat the CALL ICON is always disabled on my yahoo messenger.

@simmie i think ur problem is impossible bcoz in ym

u cannot disable features like that.

what u can do is u can configure your settings in ur account

using the Menu Bar > Messenger > Preferences

look for a setting that can ignore calls or even msgs

or u cud just check the log in as INVISIBLE button before signing in and

no one will no u are online unless u buzz them.

"Sorry. This build of Messenger is not supported for Buddylist Ad Removal" I get this for messenger 10.0.0.1102-us. Plus it didn't remove the big add at the bottom which is the one I really want gone. Durn. So now what?

My Ad Destroy 6.0 was built specifically for Yahoo Messenger 10

It’s built in C# and 100% vista/win7 UAC compatible

I also have seperate 32bit and 64bit builds

It will remove 98% of the Advertisements
