Hi

I downloaded this 7 Taskbar Tweaker last weekend, and i have windows 7 32 bit.. Well, when it downloaded, my antivirus blocked it saying it was a threat.. Anyway i ignored this as i downloaded from the Microsoft website.. and the Taskbar Tweaker worked fine to start with, and now my keyboard and touchpad on my laptop suddenly freeze, and i have to reboot to get them working again.. I deleted the exe file as soon as my computer started doing strange things.. but its still playing up, and i am still getting "supicious.cloud" trying to hack into my computer

Please help if anybody else is having strange problems since downloading 7 Taskbar Tweaker.. and how can i make sure that i have got rid or uninstalled the 7 Taskbar Tweaker exe file?

Mostly this is for Marcus, but also for everyone else who doesn't understand why everybody doesn't love the new stuff.

It comes down to what you do with your computer. Is it a toy, a social environment, a work place, or some combination of these? Do you use it to email, network, stream, play games?

My computer is essentially a workplace. Though I see the advantages of the new Taskbar for many, or maybe most people, for me it it's an OS killer. I need to see as much of my work space as possible. To that end, on my XP system, I autohide my taskbar. I look at it maybe once a day and I never use the start menu so I don't care what is or isn't on it. I use a launcher, and ALT+Tab. Clean, neat, doesn't eat up my screens with piles of . . . or pretty little pics.

I feel the same way about Microsoft's ribbon. Any software that utilizes it - and more and more do, God forbid anyone not jump on the Microsoft bandwagon - I can't use.

So, for now, I have to stick with my older, but perfectly wonderful, applications and my older, but perfectly wonderful, OS. In the meantime, I am searching out programs that will help me hang on to as much real estate as I can when I am finally forced to move on. Another thing I'm hoping for is that monitors will start getting taller instead of wider.

Most of all, I like choice. You should be able to choose the Super Bar and I should be able to avoid it (yeah, and the ribbon too).

I love reading all this stuff, but having Windows 7 myself, i can't see why people would want to go back to the old stuff when things like the Superbar make life that little bit easier. Just hover the mouse over a stack and you get thumbnails of the windows from that group and click it, and you've changed the open window within that group - I don't get what people find so backward about it, I think it's great. Beats the crap out of XP any day!
