I've had nothing but problems getting this Logon changer to work but came across one at
http://tweaks.com/software/tweakslogon/
which works beautifully. Not only will it automatically re-size, compress and apply your new picture; it also has a 'revert to default' option in case you want to go with the original picture.

Hi Mr.VG,
I have used this and it's working good. Thanks for sharing this app... However, after changing my background, the shutdown button disappeared. Any solutions? Thanks a lot.
VG
^^ You can use other utilities mentioned in "Related Articles" section to change the background. May be it'll fix your problem. Or you can manually change it using registry method.

Warning! This program deletes the original files from the source directory where you have taken to set the logon screen. This is really bad. krishnanblr, please correct this nasty bug
